This feels near and this goes here Passing by me, this time will be free And I don't know you will leave this world one night or day I simply have no energy to panic or worry This feels a way to pass the time Simply tasks, simple thoughts, hang on to what's mine And I don't know if this moment's made of gold I'll try to flow, the deepest, the lowest it goes As long as I don't get depressed My mind is full of haze I simply have no energy to panic or worry We're in a daze, we're in a daze We're in a daze, we're in a daze There's freedom, it makes beauty, it makes strength It's used to build all the things and we wonder what they meant It's not how it used to be, now there's a light hung on a beam I simply have no energy to panic or worry

Can I ask you a question? Can I ask you? Can I, ask why? I keep tripping on my words when I'm just tryna get through Rolling, rolling (I'm just tryna get through) Forget where I was going (I keep tripping on my words I'm just tryna get through) Rolling, rolling (I keep tripping on) If I ever find it again (I keep tripping)

I've been up for a while The air is brisk with spring The birds, they chirp their yawns And warm anticipation comes on Together, forever Together, forever Together, forever Yesterday feels like a long time What picture will you paint today? Cold weather on my face Outside, I start to run But a breeze rustles the trees A reminder, I'm not alone And today, you and I, we have sewn this world Through our eyes, we are told what we could hold (you and I) You and I, we could hold it all Oh, all the light Together, forever, together, forever Together, forever, together, forever Together, forever, together, forever As sky says hi to the sun I said goodbye to you Goodbye, goodbye my dear friend Goodbye

about

I had been painting for a couple of months before working on this album and as a result I didn't play guitar for that time but keyboard was more accessible.

Initially I had plans for the end of the year to finish two projects, "For a Home" and "Of the Sky 2" but I didn't think I was in the state of mind to complete them because they required a lot more time and emotional investment. Start of October I started writing for a new ep/album that didn't have any baggage with it and I could bring it to life easier, I came up with ideas for around 13 pieces until 18 October came, I abandoned that project and a new project took over.

This project became Trellis, there are still two pieces from the initial October ideas that found their way into Trellis in a different shape than originally written ("sunken" and "call")

The track "air 3" was written last year for a project that didn't pan out and it made sense for it be on this record, also because it felt like a continuation of "Air" and "Air 2" that are on my previous record "At the Eve", everything else for Trellis was written from Oct 18 till Dec 18.

It felt natural to not use my guitar at all for this project. All guitar playing on it is done by creative friends who inspired a significant part of the album. Use of words in pieces was also something I naturally didn't gravitate towards, except for a few tracks that are driven by them.
